Residence El Nido – Charming, small-scale, and perfectly your style

Van Maerlantstraat 38 is located near the city center, Antwerp Central Station, and Park Spoor Noord. AP University of Applied Sciences and the University of Antwerp are within walking and/or cycling distance. Several supermarkets such as Lidl, Colruyt, Jumbo, and Albert Heijn are within walking distance.

We welcome both Belgian and international students, including interns, researchers, PhD candidates, and Erasmus students. Van Maerlant is the ideal base for those studying, doing an internship, or staying temporarily in Antwerp and looking for comfort, peace, and a pleasant community.

With only three floors and a limited number of residents, this residence is deliberately small-scale and cozy—perfect for those who enjoy a calm, homely atmosphere.

In this residence, you will find several different types of student rooms:
– Ground floor: 2 student rooms with a private bathroom (private shower and sink) and a shared toilet in the hallway
– 1st floor: 2 student rooms with a private sink and a shared bathroom on the mezzanine with the other student on this floor (so you share it in pairs, which is very manageable)
– 2nd floor: same setup (2 student rooms with shared bathroom facilities)
– 3rd floor: Student studio with all facilities private (own kitchen, own bathroom)

The shared kitchen and living area are located on level -1.
